Pierwszym stacjonarnym przystankiem projektu RuralMap były Włochy, gdzie w dniach 7-9 kwietnia wraz z uczniami klas maturalnych Zespołu Szkół Ogólnokształcących im. Ignacego Jana Paderewskiego w Łasku-Kolumnie, Aleksandrą Adamską oraz Kacprem Borowskim mieliśmy zaszczyt uczestniczyć w wydarzeniu orgaznizowanym przez włoskiego lidera projektu GAL Prealpi e Dolomiti.
Spotkanie miało na celu przybliżenie młodzieży zagadnień związanych z funkcjonowaniem Unii Europejskiej oraz aktywne włączenie ich w dyskusję na temat jej przyszłości. Program obejmował szereg inspirujących wystąpień i warsztatów.
Jednym z kluczowych punktów była prezentacja pt. „Connecting the European Union: the role of the European Committee of the Regions”, którą poprowadziła Benedetta Pricolo. Uczestnicy mieli okazję dowiedzieć się więcej o roli Komitetu Regionów oraz znaczeniu współpracy między poziomem lokalnym, a instytucjami europejskimi.
Kolejnym ważnym elementem było spotkanie w formule debaty i otwartego warsztatu, podczas którego uczniowie wzięli udział w symulacji procesu tworzenia polityk Unii Europejskiej. Młodzież pracowała nad tematami i priorytetami istotnymi z ich perspektywy, ucząc się jednocześnie mechanizmów podejmowania decyzji na poziomie europejskim.
Uczestnicy wysłuchali również prezentacji pt. „Europe Direct and Local Action Group: a strategic synergy to foster local European dialogue”, która podkreśliła znaczenie współpracy pomiędzy siecią Europe Direct, a Lokalnymi Grupami Działania w budowaniu świadomości europejskiej na poziomie lokalnym.
Istotną częścią programu były także działania partycypacyjne z wykorzystaniem metodologii foresight, realizowane w nawiązaniu do założeń European Youth Strategy. Warsztaty te stworzyły przestrzeń do refleksji, wymiany opinii oraz budowania wspólnej wizji przyszłości Europy, z uwzględnieniem perspektywy młodych ludzi.
Składamy serdeczne podziękowania i gratulacje za organizację wydarzenia liderowi projektu GAL Prealpi e Dolomiti, włoskiej lokalnej grupie działania, która stworzyła możliwość udziału w wartościowych działaniach edukacyjnych oraz międzynarodowej wymianie doświadczeń.
The first stop on the RuralMap project’s itinerary was Italy, where, from 7 to 9 April, together with final-year students from the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Comprehensive School Complex in Łask-Kolumna, Aleksandra Adamska and Kacper Borowski, we had the honour of taking part in an event organised by the Italian project leader, GAL Prealpi e Dolomiti.
The meeting aimed to familiarise young people with issues related to the functioning of the European Union and to actively involve them in a discussion on its future. The programme included a series of inspiring talks and workshops.
One of the key highlights was the presentation entitled “Connecting the European Union: the role of the European Committee of the Regions”, led by Benedetta Pricolo. Participants had the opportunity to learn more about the role of the Committee of the Regions and the importance of cooperation between the local level and European institutions.
Another important element was a session combining a debate and an open workshop, during which students took part in a simulation of the European Union’s policy-making process. The young people worked on topics and priorities relevant from their perspective, whilst learning about decision-making mechanisms at the European level.
Participants also attended a presentation entitled ‘Europe Direct and Local Action Groups: a strategic synergy to foster local European dialogue’, which highlighted the importance of cooperation between the Europe Direct network and Local Action Groups in raising European awareness at local level.
An important part of the programme also comprised participatory activities using foresight methodology, carried out in line with the objectives of the European Youth Strategy. These workshops created a space for reflection, the exchange of views and the development of a shared vision for the future of Europe, taking into account the perspective of young people.
